ABOUT COACH MO 

Mo Tangara is a former professional basketball player, Philanthropist, mentor, Basketball coach, Basketball players development trainer & consultant, USA Basketball Gold Coach Licensee, and NCAA Basketball Certify coach.

As a proud US citizen, Mo has maintained a successful and respectful professional basketball career.  

Coach Mo attended Mount Zion Christian Academy in NC Durham from 2000-04, with a 29-1 record in his senior year season in high school. As a 4-year starter, he was ranked as the following.

No. 38 overall high school prospect, No. 11 power forward In the Country, Averaging 15.0 pt, 15 rebs, 4, blocked/ as a senior in high school.  2002: Voted as one of the top five players at the NBA Player Camp (earned Best Defensive Player). 2001-03 Top 25 player of Nike All-American camp, 2004 High School All-American games, (MVP of Derby Festival Classic), 2004 USA prep school/high school Ranked Mo as theRivals.com Rating:  5.9, Rang # 4 player in the state of North Carolina 

Coach Mo graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science (FSHD),   Coached and mentored by hall-of-fame coach Lute Olson R.I.P  (2004-08)

Accomplishments: Professional basketball player in NBA D-League, FIBA international, 5-time captain of the FIBA Mali Nat’l team (Africa), 25 years of basketball experience from 4 continents, Milwaukee Bucks, 2009 NBA summer league training camp invitation, played in the European league, African League, Asia league, FIBA Afrobasket, 2000, 2007, 2008 2010, and the road to Olympic game and world cup, 2011, 2013, 2015. As a leader of Mali basketball, Mo took the Mali National Senior Basketball Team, the team ranked #15 out of 16 in Africa, to #7, then ranked #4 in the 2015 All-African Game 

 Coach Mo retired from professional Basketball shortly after he founded the EBBA/international basketball consulting. Tangara worked as follows.
